Hi! I'm Aluma. I'm a Software Developer and a crafter from Israel.
I'm a Software Developer at Foundational. I grew up in Ashdod, where I wrote my first lines of code in my early childhood (🐣). In 2014, I started as a student at Magshimim Cyber, a three-year training program for youth in Israel's geographic and social countryside. The program affected me deeply and made me the software developer I am today. This led me to act as a Co-Manager and Community Leader in its alum community, Magshimim Next.
My professional background includes roles as an Embedded Linux Developer, Backend Developer, and Fullstack Developer.
I enjoy pretty things and trying out different crafts. Lately, I found joy in needlework and React.js 🪡✨ I have also been learning Spanish for quite a few years and hope to write in my blog about my road trip to Andalucia soon. Oh, and I use a dumbphone. You'll hear everything about it in my blog...
